How to Use and Care E-Cloth
Cleaning with E-Cloth is simple but very effective - just add water and clean away.
E-Cloth Etiquette
- E-Cloth is used dry for dusting.
- Often times a dry Glass & Polishing E-Cloth is used as the finishing touch.
- For many other types of cleaning, water is the only cleaning companion. (Exception: The Screen and Lens Cleaning Packs use CleanSafe Spray instead of water.)
When it comes to applying water, so far we have found two types of "E-Cloth Enthusiasts:"
1. "The Sprayers" use E-Cloth Atomizers to apply water, using dry E-Cloths to clean.
2. "The Soakers" wet the E-Cloths under the faucet, twist water out, and clean.
E-Cloth Tips
♦ Fold the cloth and use as a pad. This ensures good contact of cloth with the surface at all times.
♦ Use the cloth from side to side or top to bottom of the surface to be cleaned, rather than rubbing around the area. This ensures that dirt on the surface is collected rather than smeared.
Heavy-Duty Cloths - For cleaning thick grease and dirt.
♦ Wet it thoroughly, wring out all excess water, fold it and use as a pad. You can also rinse cloth as you clean.
♦ Under some circumstances, such as really heavy grease or dirt, use hot or warm water.
♦ For the best results, finish with a Glass & Polishing Cloth or Finishing Cloth.
E-Cloth Care & Washing Instructions:
For most day-to-day use, a warm rinse under the faucet is enough to get the E-Cloth ready for the next cleaning task.
When E-Cloths and/or E-Cloth mop heads become so soiled or filthy as to require a thorough cleaning, machine wash in hot water (up to 200°), or boil in a saucepan.
Special care for items that should be machine-washed at a lower temperature, including Dusting Cloths, Drinkware Drying & Polishing Towel, Dry Mop Head and Sponge Cloth
Important! Use minimal detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Tumble or air-dry.
