Special Contest for Childhood Obesity Prevention
Sadly, childhood obesity has become a widespread epidemic in the USA, with over 30% of kids overweight and about 18% of these obese. Obesity is a risk factor for most types of cancer. It is also a key risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and many chronic illnesses. Childhood obesity is often a prelude to adulthood obesity.
